Sheila McPhillips

Vice President, Product Management

Sheila McPhillips is responsible for the oversight and development of HMC’s Health & Wellness programs.

Joining HMC in 2006, Sheila served as Empire BlueCross BlueShield’s assistant vice president of patient care management. There, she had overall responsibility for Health Management Programs, the company’s member portal containing My Health Record and Learning Series, and the Health Education Department and Call Case Triage Unit. 

Sheila’s career includes key positions with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceutical Company and Oxford Health Plans, where she developed and implemented disease management programs. She was also a project director for studies conducted at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University.

Sheila holds a master’s degree in public health, specializing in maternal and child health in the United States, from Columbia University School of Public Health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Vermont.
