Herman Jenich
Vice President, Clinical Informatics
Herman Jenich leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing HMC and its clients with the analytical insight for operating and evaluating existing programs and planning new initiatives. He supports critical HMC functions including client reporting, member identification, predictive modeling, ROI calculation, and research and development. Herman is also responsible for data management.
Herman has 18 years of experience in health care analytics, data management, auditing and research. Before joining HMC, he spent five years at Empire BlueCross BlueShield, where he led the Informatics and Quality Improvement teams and built the analytics that support most of the company’s care management programs.
Herman received his master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and his bachelor’s degree in biology from Oberlin College. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor (CHCA).
